A beautiful residence for a summer holiday or day-to-day living among the picturesque Bulgarian countryside. This is a two storey brick house situated in Maslinovo village among the outskirts of the Rhodope Mountains. The building is in very good condition and hosts a kitchen lounge, a cellar, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a lavatory. Each room is beautifully decorated with wooden ceilings. A wooden staircase connects the two floors and adds further charm to the interior.
The yard adjoined to the house covers a total of 2 600 sq m. It incorporates 600 sq m of twenty year old vines, which belong to the sorts Pamid, Merlot, Bulgar and Damet. Another 1 800 sq m have been planted with corn, strawberries, fruit trees and flowers.
A small fish breeding-pond and a number of beehives are also included. One corner of the plot is occupied by agricultural buildings that can easily be converted into a spacious lounge or BBQ area.
The property is located at the very end of the settlement and has a beautiful panoramic view over the nearby houses and the surrounding area. A small river runs only 150 m away from it and a lake-dam lies at a distance of 300 m. Maslinovo village is situated in one of the most attractive areas in the country, 20 km to the south from the town of Haskovo and 30 northwards from Kardjali. Not far (appr. 50 km) from the village is one of the biggest dams in Bulgaria – Studen Kladenets as well as the natural reserve Madjarovo. Only 12 km away lie the remains of Perpericon, which is one of the most important archeological findings in Europe.
